I think most people are familiar with Volkswagen and its origins as Ferdinand Porsche’s “people’s car.” Porsche designed a lot of products for Nazi Germany, including tanks.
However, courtesy of cracked.com, we have four more brand names that either have Nazi origins, or were deep in business with the Nazis. In one case, even after World War II had started. In all cases the brands are still alive and well and doing business here in the good ole U.S. of A.
The real question is if anyone really cares anymore. I must confess my interest is mainly rooted in historical novelty, although I do acknowledge the Nazis are bad. I’ve been cheering on Indiana Jones for over 25 years now.
