So I’m thinking about getting a new domain name, which means the name of the site would change. So I thought I’d gather a few opinions from the few of you who actually read the site.

What do you think of The Bald Curmudgeon?

Don’t be shy. Just go right ahead and leave a comment. If you’ve got a better idea, leave that too. I don’t mind stealing good ideas.

Well, it certainly took long enough, but I finally found another theme I like. I’ll be fiddling with things over the next few days, so if you see something show up and disappear, you know why.

In the meantime, I promise my readers (both of you), that I’ll be back again. I’m feeling another spurt of activity coming on.

Well, we’re back to the previous layout. Nothing felt right after a few days, but I’ll keep looking.

Just playing around with some themes. The site has seemed kind of stale lately. So don’t be surprised to see it change entirely within a day while I search for a new look and feel.

It’s almost been another month.

This, my readers, is why I don’t make any money off my writing. (Not that’s it’s good enough anyway, but you have to start at the bottom.) I’ve always said the difference between an amateur and a professional, is a professional does it on cue. Sure that person you know might be a barrel of laughs, but can they be funny when it curtain goes up and the spotlight hits them?

So far, I’m an amateur. It’s not a pejorative. It’s a reflection of reality. I write when the mood strikes. Not when the spotlight shines. But I do have more to say, so keep checking back and you might be pleasently surprised.
